Who We Are
Harambee is a coalition of NYC specialized school alumni dedicated to fostering the educational development of Black children in an effective test preparatory environment that furthers diversity within Specialized High Schools in New York City. A group of concerned alumni from Brooklyn Technical High School decided to launch an outreach program administered by CAS Prep, a community based test prep and academic enrichment company, which prepares 7th and 8th grade students for the SHSAT.
